Planar, asymmetrical forms that emerged initially from pencil sketches and paper maquettes. The series takes advantage of various computer controlled processes such as water-jet cutting, laser cutting, and routing. With stacks of the flat shapes in hand, trial and error experiments ensue to discover connections, modules, configurations, and variations.
