LIBRARY patrons of all ages and abilities can build their creativity.

Flexible Engagement

Cojiform can be as simple or complex as a participant’s abilities and persistence allow, so it’s great for families or other groups of mixed ages or aptitudes.

Some people like to follow instructions toward a known outcome, others prefer to experiment and make their own discoveries. Cojiform allows for both modes of engagement.

Similar to traditions like origami or quilting, Cojiform grows when people contribute new modules or methods to expand the Cojiform catalogue of designs.

For those seeking inspiration or specific guidance, there are printed folio books, signage, and step by step tutorial videos available.

Kit leasing and Events

Cojiform kits can be borrowed and delivered to your branch: the typical lease term is 2-4 weeks. In this way, patrons can build their skills with repeated engagement. The parts and a sign/book can be placed on a table or credenza, allowing patrons to engage as they might with a jigsaw puzzle.

Libraries located in the western PA/tristate area can book founder Isaac Bower for in-person workshops or pop-ups. These can be stand-alone events or can occur during the period of a kit leased. Please email Isaac to discuss bringing Cojiform to your branch or library system.

Cojiform events have been held in many libraries, including the LAMP, Pittsburgh, PA (formerly called The Library for the Blind). Read about it here in the Compendium.
